Disrupt Recommends: our favourite micro-influencers right now!
In the world of influencer marketing, micro-influencers are a HOT commodity.
These talented creators tend to have a smaller but highly engaged following, typically between 1,000 to 100,000 followers which can be really effective for brands looking to target a specific market segment or demographic – making them an ideal choice for a lot of brands we work with.
Partnering with a relevant micro-influencer, with an authentic alignment to a brand can result in a highly engaged campaign that taps into and builds an audience’s trust within that niche.
And as we now see Influencer marketing shifting down the funnel and becoming a channel that can drive performance as well as brand awareness, Micro-influencers are only becoming more important to our industry. At Disrupt, we LOVE harnessing the power that micro-influencers can bring to a brand campaign, from those that we currently work with, to some who we hope to in the future, take a look at some of our team’s favourite micro-influencers!
Marta’s Pick!
One of my all-time fave influencers that we work with on a lot of our campaigns is the one and only Demi Collen, she is a sustainable fashion influencer whose content is bright, educational and authentic. Due to her relatability and willingness to be honest, she has amassed an incredibly loyal, engaged, and supportive community that is continuing to grow. Due to these reasons, I predict her following doubling in size within a year.
Hannah’s Pick!
Holly and Brooke are some of the funniest gals around, two women making waves in the comedy space. Their videos are so engaging and I would love the opportunity for a brand to come in and snap them up for an AD in a skit style. They’re going to blow up soon so watch this space!
Princess’ Pick!
My fave micro-influencer at the moment is Rissa Rocha. I have been following her for some time and she’s super cool and authentic for the fashion girlies! She is also a Social Media exec which I find pretty cool!
Pippa’s Pick!
Elle Rodda is a lush nano creator in the fashion vertical, I love her style and her aesthetic! She took some time off creating but is making her comeback!
Stevie’s Pick!
My favourite micro-influencer at the moment is Josh Pugh. With the Reels algorithm on Instagram pushing me towards comedy, golf and parenting content, I came across Josh last year and immediately took delight in his quick-witted and sharp humour, as well as his take on everyday life situations. A comedian more than an influencer, there isn’t much on his socials to suggest plenty of brand deals (yet!), but his content is worth a scroll through if you’re ever in need of a pick-me-up.
Micro-influencers provide a unique opportunity for brands to connect with their target audience in a meaningful way and drive business growth, and their influence is only set to grow in the future. We’re so excited to see what’s to come!
