7 TikTok Influencers Inspiring Travel Adventures
Social media is unquestionably the home of holiday inspo. Planning a trip? You’re probably checking out hotel photos on Instagram. Want to find a nice restaurant? It’s straight to TikTok to find 5 of the best-hidden gems within seconds.
TikTok has become my go-to search engine for almost everything, especially when looking for holiday inspiration. When I’m planning a trip, it is always my first stop. While Instagram gives me a nice, curated snapshot of my potential destinations, TikTok provides a more authentic glimpse into what places are really like.
The power of influencers in shaping travel trends and creating new go-to holiday destinations is undeniable. In this list, I’ve gathered a few creators I follow who may not be your typical ‘travel influencers,’ but who provide honest insights and fun highlights I’ve come to trust.
What is a Travel Influencer?
A travel influencer is a content creator who shares their travel experiences with their social media audience. Typical content can include things like their recommended places to visit, best places to eat, travel tips and tricks for budget-friendly travel in the form of vlogs, short-form videos, Instagram stories, and blog posts.
TikTok Travel Influencers:
Here are the the creators I go to for travel inspiration on TikTok:
Isaac Hindin-Miller (@isaaclikes_)
Isaac, or ‘Isaac Likes,’ may not be a travel creator, but as a DJ and interviewer based in NYC, he brings a fresh perspective to exploring cities. I love watching his street interviews in places like LA, Paris, and Berlin, where locals share their favourite spots—like trendy restaurants or the coolest spot for a night out. Isaac captures authentic recommendations straight from the people who live there, making it feel like you’re getting insider tips from a friend.
Denna (@strictlythegoodstuff)
I first discovered Denna on Instagram but recently found her TikTok, where she has an even larger following. Her content immediately caught my eye with its aesthetic, Pinterest-worthy vibe, while still being uniquely her own. Denna has a talent for showcasing “the good stuff” through her go-to guides on her blog, where she shares beautiful destinations. Whether she’s highlighting cafes in Paris or beachy spots in Milos, her recommendations always feel carefully curated and genuine.
Kait Park (@k8prk)
Kait is one of my favourite London-based creators, and I love following her foodie adventures and travels. There’s no better way to explore new places than through food, and Kait does exactly that with her honest reviews and visits to cool spots around London. Recently, she shared vlogs from her trip to Paris, including outfit inspiration and ideas for things to do. Her high-energy, relatable style makes her content really easy to watch, and every time I finish a video, I’m left inspired to try something new.
Maddie Borge (@maddieborge)
Maddie’s content shows a glimpse into her life as a ’20-something girly in London,’ where she shares everything from expat life to fun things to do through her ‘solo-date’ series. However, her content goes far beyond London—Maddie has also recently highlighted her solo travels, with trips to Italy and New York. As a young woman, she provides an honest take on solo travel, balancing positivity with the realities of going alone. Maddie’s focus on budget-friendly trips and her encouragement to embrace solo experiences make her a relatable and inspiring creator for young women like myself.
Olly Bowman (@mrmelk_)
Olly, an Aussie based in London, is one of those creators who is very easy to watch. Even though he’s not a traditional travel creator, I love how he documents his experiences living in London and exploring Europe with a comedic, out-of-the-box vibe. What resonates with me is how Olly encourages his followers to take risks and embrace spontaneity—something that’s especially inspiring when it comes to travel and adventure.
Michelle Kundo (@wearmichelletravels)
Michelle, a fashion and travel creator, quickly became one of my favourites with her travel vlogs. She shares everything from ‘beginner’s guides’ to money-saving tips for travel, all through a beautifully curated aesthetic. Her genuine and bubbly personality is what initially made me a follower, and now I keep coming back to see her must-visit destinations and recommendations for a more luxurious travel experience.
Kyra-Mae (@kyramaeturner6)
Kyra-Mae is a popular travel creator known for vlogging her adventures around the world. She films almost every aspect of her trips, from the food she eats to the people she meets, and even started a series where she gets her makeup done in different countries, highlighting different cultural styles to her audience. Often referred to as a ‘comfort creator,’ Kyra’s videos are binge-worthy, and her content makes her audience feel connected to her journeys. With her honest and relatable approach, she’s become a trusted source for travel inspiration.
