We’ve got some exciting news fresh out of the Disrupt office to share with you all! On the 16th October we’re delivering a talk and discussion panel at the 2018 Influencer Marketing Show, taking place in the heart of London at the iconic Old Billingsgate.

What exactly are we going to be talking about, I hear you ask?

Four years ago, KA drinks (a division of AG Barr) together with the team at Disrupt and GRM Daily, created the UK’s first-ever platform to celebrate the Grime music scene called the Rated Awards.

From humble beginnings in a small church venue to this year being televised by Channel 4 from the Eventim Apollo, the annual Rated Awards now attracts over 3 million content views, over 300,000 lives streams and more than 50,000 social posts to deliver a social reach in excess of 30 million.

Rated Awards 2018

For those attending, you can join us on the main stage at 14:00 where our very own Matt Thorne, Co-Founder of the Rated Awards and Disrupt, will head up a panel consisting of Influencer @poetscorneruk and representatives from AG Barr and GRM Daily to tell their story about ‘Amplifying Brand Alongside Culture’.

As digital marketing evolves, it’s important for brands to identify the need to move away from simply piggy-backing existing cultures. Instead brands should be the driving force of new cultures. This entertaining and highly informative session will lift the lid on how to craft successes that are formed of commercial and cultural collaboration.
