Achieving multiple sales across multiple territories through the successful launch of a new brand for Fanhome.
Approach
OBJECTIVE
Fanhome, a subscription-based model-build and figurine collectibles brand for the world’s most popular franchises, wanted to work with creators in geek communities across the UK, Germany and the US in a long-term, sustained way, to drive awareness and sales.
CHALLENGE
The brand needed to target influencers in a very specific niche, which were hard to find. Being a new brand meant influencers – and their audiences – were also cautious about engaging without awareness already in place.
Solution
We leveraged our extensive local market knowledge of the influencer landscape across the US, Germany and UK to craft detailed lists of potential influencers across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitch. These lists encompassed niche communities and model building forums as well as macro geek influencers, to ensure both mass awareness as well as resonance and consideration.
As Fanhome is a new brand, we devoted a lot of time to crafting the perfect pitch and brief to ensure the content that influencers created would fulfil the dual task of introducing and launching the brand and driving sales. We capitalised on our excellent relationship-building capabilities and our ability to manage influencers at scale to drive goodwill and interest. This has resulted in long-term relationships for the brand, which now has a loyal and devoted community of creators and consumers in their key markets.
